Oh, Tawny and Brendan, he's finally HERE!

When Brendan called me from the hospital and said that the sweet baby had been born, I was so thrilled. And then he mentioned the big news: instead of tiny little Adelynn, out popped 10 pound Elijah! Needless, to say, he was a big surprise, but a wonderful and amazing blessing. Boys are a whole different creature, but so so worth it!

I was able to pop in to the hospital and shoot their Fresh 48 the evening he was born. There is nothing like the tiny little loveliness that is an hours old newborn. Just simply perfection.

They came in to the studio the week after for his newborn session as well. Brendan was thrilled to be able to use all his hockey gear as "props!" And except for him stepping on a pile of pucks that I thought was my LENS out of the corner of my eye, that was lots of fun! Sweet Elijah was a very awake little man, but we coaxed lots of sweet expressions and poses out of him.
